Origin: Siberia and China. Large deciduous tree, erect habit, very leafy and with smooth wood.
Leaves up to 3.5 cm long, toothed, pointed at the tip, bright green and yellow in autumn. Purple flowers appear before the leaves, followed by samaras that fall in July.
Requirements: Prefers moist, fertile and light soils.
