Pot: 10L / 160-180 cm
A deciduous tree that can reach a height of 5-8 meters, with a spreading crown, it is also interesting from an ornamental point of view thanks to its large, oval leaves, dark green on the upper surface and gray on the underside, which turn bright yellow in autumn; its cup-shaped flowers, 5 cm wide, white or pink, which bloom in late spring; and its large fruits, which remain on the tree for some time, adding color to the plant. Cultivated since time immemorial in the Mediterranean basin, it was considered by the Greeks to be a symbol of love. Its fruits were known as the truffles of antiquity, used to flavor quinces, jams, and jellies. It adapts to a wide variety of soil types, except for calcareous ones; it prefers full sun.
It does not require pruning, except perhaps for containment.
